Pendle Education Trust; an Academy Trust in Lancashire with a focus on providing exceptional education at a local level, are looking for an IT Support Technician to join their dedicated team. Sponsored by “Outstanding” (Ofsted) Nelson and Colne College, the Trust is going through an exciting period of growth and change, and are looking for individuals who
share our high aspirations, and passion for success and achievement.

Primarily working within 1 of our 5 Academies and providing support across the Trust, the successful candidate will provide exceptional IT Support to colleagues, resolving basic problems associated with operating systems, software, hardware, printers and AV equipment.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and enthusiastic professional, able to demonstrate exemplary skills in customer service, advice and guidance. It is a fantastic opportunity and we welcome applications from all with an interest in IT/computing/programming for this entry level position. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Main duties include:
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues as necessary.
• Installing hardware and software as required.
• Creating and maintaining various user accounts.
• Supporting the use of MIS systems primarily SIMs.
• Maintaining up to date inventories of all IT and related equipment.

Salary – Grade 3 – £18,562 to £18,933
Working Hours – 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
